In conversation a client showed Ben her recent telephone bill and showed she was paying for over £30 for her landline and calls. After looking at the clients background it showed that the client was eligible and was claiming pension credit, after doing some research Ben found that the client was entitled to BT’s basic phone plan for people who are in receipt of certain benefits, now the client has a good call package and line rental for less than half her previous monthly phone charge.

After a follow up to her car insurance, Ben looked at my existing insurance supplier, after looking on comparison sites and doing a quote online, I called up my insurer and with Ben’s support was able to include business use, included all her jewellery inside and outside the home as well as many extras as standard and a better product for her needs and wants and has saved over £302.00 off her renewal price.

Ben visited his Nan who’s car insurance was up for renewal and had just decided to switch her car insurance from her long standing supplier, Ben’s Nan thought that her existing supplier was a good price and loyalty meant she had a good discount, after checking other insurers, it was evidence that this was not the case, Ben’s Nan called her car insurance provider she was able to save over £100 off her home insurance and she also got optional extras as standard which she had to pay for on her old policy.

A client had recently purchased a new car and wanted to know what was best option for him, I had two cars already and was finding the whole task frustrating and complex, after Ben looking at my needs, it was evident that I needed all my insurance more organised and I told him that my home insurance needed renewing soon. Ben suggested had I looked a comparing multi-cover insurance, after he did some research and looked I soon realised that this would be a better solution to my needs, he also suggested that some multi covers now include home insurance as standard. After a call on the phone I am not able to put all the existing policies onto one policy and now add the new car to this and he has allowed me to set this up so when my home insurance is due I have had a quote for my insurance which has been saved with the new insurer and when my home insurance is up for renewal I can add this to one policy, what a simple stress free way of having all my policies on one policy.
