About ME

Hello! I’m Ben. Let me tell you a bit about me.

I’ve had many years working in the finance sector. I worked for five years in a building society across Sussex in a wide range of roles. As far back as when I first left school, I have helped people save time including cleaning cars, cutting hedges and doing odd jobs.  In my time at college, I gained a diploma in financial studies which gave me invaluable insight and skills to do research. I always have this research brain switched on when I’m reading business, technology and personal finance news from day to day. It is my passion as well as my profession.

The ‘Everyone Needs a Ben’ project started in my spare time researching the best savings products. When I was 16, I opened up my first ISA; when I turned 18, I wanted to ensure that I had the best current account credit card.

I have always had an interest in researching this and ensuring that I got the best product and price. When working in the retail sector, I came to the realisation that loyalty no longer paid, and that business was all about short term profit and not treating the customer as an individual.

Over the years, I have helped family and friends understand the complex world of products and services and demonstrated how to switch and find the most suitable product for their needs. I have spent years chasing the best interest rates as the economical landscape has changed. I had to make smart and proactive decisions in account-switching to get the best return on my nest egg.

I have had many calls and messages from my grandparents saying ‘Ben I have done something to my TV; I have pressed a button on my mobile and now it doesn’t work, Please help me’.  I have been to the aid of many clients and family members when it comes to resolving Tech issues such as retuning Televisions in or setting up a mobile and demonstrating how to text and use a smart phone to setting up broadband and troubleshooting PC issues.

A family friend who I use to assist along with my late granddad came up with the saying, “everyone needs a Ben” and as I was helping people and talking to them, I decided to set up my
business to help others with their financial and tech issues.

Why not see how I can help you.
